FAUX PRODUCT REVIEW 29: MODEL IN A BOTTLE

unnamed

It was one of my many tweets regarding my eyebrows melting when @_LoveLO asked her friend about the setting spray she once told her about. @ReeRee_IsOn1 informed me that it was Model in a Bottle which is her holy grail and keeps everything in place. When I ran out of De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray, I ordered it. Descriprion:

  • Dries with a translucent matte finish
  • Absorbs excess oil
  • Doesn’t clogs pores
  • Never interferes with or reduces the effectiveness of SPF
  • Is fast drying, never sticky
  • Has a fresh clean scent
  • Adds moisture with Aloe Vera extract
  • Not tested on animals
  • Proudly made in the USA

Unfortunately, I made the decision to “minimize” makeup the day before this arrived. However, I still use it to mattify my face and set my brows and lipstick.

So… I don’t like the smell of this. It’s very strong, chemically, and makes me wonder if it will show up on one of those commercials. You know… “have you or any of your loved ones used this setting spray? Side effects may include your face falling off, liver damage or death. Call 1-800 to see if you’re eligible for a class suit.”

Another thing, the spray is super aggressive opposed to a light mist. It’s like getting punched in the face so you can have lasting makeup… Should you buy it? It’s up to you. I don’t know your pockets! Shop Model in a Bottle, here.
