FAUX PRODUCT REVIEW 9: VELVET NOIR MAJOR VOLUME MASCARA

One of the many benefits of my baby mama Sephora is their FREE beauty samples. Access to free samples is a result of points accumulated through previous purchases. For every dollar spent, you’ll earn a point.  You’ll need at least 100 points.  I can feel some of you rolling your eyes from here…  Any who, their free beauty samples has lead me to purchase a host of their products which is exactly what they want me to do.  Well played Sephora, well played.  This brings me to Marc Jacob’s Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara (a sample I received a couple of weeks ago).

Experience ultimate volume and the look of thick, false lashes with Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara.  The lash-maximizing, curvy brush places the most volume at the hard-to-reach center lash line, and the defining tip styles lashes for major drama.  The super-concentrated black pigment delivers the greatest visual impact, and the Flash Volume Complex™ creates instant, smudge-proof length and volume in three strokes or less.  Formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

Two coasts has worked well for me.  It does give the appearance of long and thick lashes, the formula doesn’t clump, it dries quickly, and removal is not a pain in the ass.  I like it better than all of the mascaras I’ve been using for the last couple of years but it’s quite the investment with a retail price of 26 bucks! Sephora, send me a coupon! For more info, click here!
