Apple Cider Vinegar eliminates body odor, dandruff, acne, skin irritations and heartburn, soothes a sore throat, clears a stuffy nose, balances pH levels, suppresses appetite, controls blood sugar, lowers cholesterol, and boosts energy. It can also be used for a detox bath. An Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Bath draws uric acid out of the body, eases aches and pains, and restores skin.
Disclaimer: Apple Cider Vinegar smells like Bourbon Street.
I added two cups of organic Apple Cider Vinegar to a hot bath, I like my water scorching. Maybe that’s why I’m so…never mind. When I stepped into the bathtub, I thought it would start bubbling but it didn’t. After, I thought I would start seeing stuff ooze out of my body but that didn’t happen either.
It is recommended that you stay in the bathtub until the water cools. I’m pretty sure I did not. Anything that’s not hot is cold; plus, I was pruney. There was a slight stench of vinegar on my skin but I got rid of that by spraying rosewater. Besides my skin being softer, I don’t know if I experienced any of the other listed benefits ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But, I’m going to continue doing this detox once a week.
