My first set of NCLA wraps stayed on for about 4 days, 3 hours, 22 minutes and 55 seconds. On Wednesday, I suffered a tear that rocked my spirit. I knew I had to remove them. I’m sure you’re saying to yourself “I can barely see it.” Well, who asked you? Removal wasn’t as bad as the reviews. I peeled from the bottom and used a wooden cuticle pusher to remove the rest. Some reviews stated that the removal process damaged their nails. To them, I say you probably used a cheap base coat (Read: The Case of the Bases). One thing I do want to say is that it took me a little over 30 minutes to remove *sends side eye to NCLA* And, I still had to remove my base coat after so tack on another few minutes to the total removal process.
When applying the second wraps, I took my time to ensure I didn’t have annnnnny bubbles. Bubbles lead to rips which leads to a pissy Ashlee which leads to me calling your product “basic.”
The wraps appeared smaller and as I stated in the last NCLA post, I was unable to stretch them. However, this is Day 6 and the second pair of wraps are holding on for dear life. This may have something to do with the 3 top coats I applied, lol. Again, I say I would purchase these for a special occasion but for the heffas that said it lasts two weeks, you are a lie. If you have the dough to splurge, buy yourself lunch or…..shop NCLA.
I am 90% done with the new site: pinkgumbeaux.com. Although I will continue to have a presence on Blogger, it will no longer be my main blog *insert tears here* Till then, you know I need friends so like Pink Gumbeaux on Facebook and follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Rabadaba. While you’re at it, check out my last post: Mommy, Community Theatre & Fixes.
