It’s something that I’ve really been urged to do over the last couple of weeks. This prompted me to give it some real thought.

The last few months have been tough. School continues to be a headache, I started a new job, and there are a host of other obligations I have. As a result, I have been waiting for this past weekend. The first time I would be able to take a real break. My thoughts on “living a little” was binging watching all the shows I’ve missed, cocktails and naps. Even though, it was probably one of the most important weekends in my city and at my school: homecoming. I didn’t attend not one event besides the one I was requested to attend (as a panelist). I’ve been so tired so I don’t feel bad about it. Blasphemy, I know.

But what exactly is “living?” And, how much will it cost me? Is it Happy Hour, travel, art and dancing classes, shopping? What’s living to you? Clearly, I don’t have a clue. Wasn’t I supposed to have all the answers when I turned 30? Lol.

Side note: I caught up on Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Scream Queens, Vampire Diaries, and the Originals. Husband and I rented Insideous 3 (boring) and saw Crimson Peak (not a snorfest but close). Side note 2: I’m conducting a little research regarding podcasts. What are your thoughts on them? What are some of your favorites? What subject matters?

I am 90% done with the new site: Although I will continue to have a presence on Blogger, it will no longer be my main blog *insert tears here* Till then, you know I need friends so like Pink Gumbeaux on Facebook and follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Rabadaba. While you’re at it, check out my last post: Walnut Complexion Scrub

  1. I define living as doing a lot of what you want to do, checking things off your bucket list, taking time to better yourself and foster your interests.

And no, 30 didn’t provide me with any answers either and I’m almost a year in!
    Good luck to you!
