As discussed yesterday, there were a couple of products I purchased as a result of my makeover. One, is Smooth Focus Pressed Setting Powder- Shine Control by Laura Mercier. Previously, I used a pressed powder from MAC but am kind of transitioning out of MAC products #sorrynotsorry
Details: “A pressed powder that visibly eliminates shine and controls oil breakthrough to maintain a fresh, matte finish with the naturally derived Shine Control Complex. Laura Mercier Smooth Focus Pressed Setting Powder – Shine Control is a lightweight, oil-free powder that visibly eliminates shine and produces a fresh, matte complexion. The naturally derived Shine Control Complex controls oil breakthrough and the ultra-sheer, mint green shade works to correct redness and visibly even out the skintone. It’s ideal for touch-ups throughout the day as it keeps your complexion flawless and shine-free.” The product is dermatologist tested and free of parabens. Source: Sephora
Initially, I thought it was weird that the consultant would choose a light green powder that looks white when applying. I’m an African American woman so I thought I would look like a morturary makeup artist did my makeup… … … But, that color disappears as soon as it’s applied. I haven’t determined it’s effectiveness but for $35 bucks, I assure you that I will get my money’s worth. For more info, visit Sephora.
