Last week, I saw an awesome presentation from a runner that really motivated me to take up running again. Hi T.J. Any who, running is not new to me but I haven’t been an effective runner since high school. I have really good excuses, here me out. First, my neighborhood is super hilly. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Secondly, I go…what I have coined…”pig.” I struggle with the breathing routine that is required for a long distance run; therefore, I end up wheezing after about 3 minutes on the track -_-
My first day on the track, “I ran for my life” and came back to my apartment absolutely drenched! Later that day, husband and I passed by the park and I asked him the distance of the track. Turns out, it was only a quarter of a mile *you may laugh hysterically here* I have continued doing that quarter of a mile and will add more laps as I progress. The thing I like about running is that it’s FREE and right outside of my apartment. Plus, I’m sure my Zumba classmates will appreciate this. I know they got tired of me being the best dancer, ever.
I am 90% done with the new site: pinkgumbeaux.com.
